A useful note preserves the original behavior, the rule used to examine it, the correction, and the same definition rerun. The first failure is not erased after the fix.
One retained benchmark
A self-administered synthetic benchmark moved from 27 of 45 seeded failure cases caught to 45 of 45 after a separate citation-support check was added. It rejected zero of 27 seeded pass cases on that labeled set.

A receipt should be reproducible.
It names the artifact, rule, evidence source, timestamped result, correction, and rerun. Numbers without a committed source do not render.
